The Phillip Island Jazz Festival is a must attend event for those who love all things jazz.

At this annual festival, well known jazz bands and musicians come together to play a wide variety of music from many jazz genres and time periods. So whether you like your jazz hot or cool, you will find something to get your feet tapping at this fun event.

Held at the beautiful Ramada Resort on Phillip Island, this 3 day event has a range of entertainment and performing acts celebrating all things jazz. From slow blues to fast beats, from loud trumpets to soulful singers, jazz can really suit all tastes.

Come and hear a twist on an old jazz favourite or some up and coming jazz bands, there will be a range of musicians playing a range of jazz, swing and big band music throughout the festival. In previous years artists that have played at the festival have included: Creole Bells Revival Band, Shirazz, Beverley Sheehan, Nolte Brothers’ Novelty Six, James Maddock & Friends, Doctor Crask and His Swinging Elixir, Royal Australian Navy Jazz Band, The Cope Street Parade, Jules Boult with The Redeemers and The Wikimen. Accommodation is available at the Ramada Resort throughout the festival. The Ramada Resort offers guests a natural holiday experience surrounded by 65 acres of beautiful countryside. Amenities include a cafe, bar and pizzeria on site, a BBQ picnic area, outdoor swimming pools and separate children’s pool, gym, sauna, spa, indoor lap pool and tennis courts. For those who like to explore the grounds there are 7 kilometres of walking and cycling tracks around the resort.
