The coastal paradise of Phillip Island is not only known for its serenity and natural wonders but also renowned for its unique and popular events.
The region is home to several internationally renowned festivals that include music festivals, art exhibitions, live shows, as well as the world-famous MotoGP.
2022/2023 Phillip Island Racetrack & Island Events Calendar Guide
Come to Phillip Island to witness the biggest super bike race on Australia’s racing calendar, the MotoGP. See Honda and Yamaha battle it out against Ducati and Suzuki for place on the podium. The Superbike World Championship is another racing event which is held over three days. This huge racing event is guaranteed to bring thrills and spills and provides great entertainment for all ages.
For sporting enthusiasts, check out the range of triathlon, swimming, running and cycling event held on Phillip Island. The San Remo Channel Challenge is a racing event that includes a 500 metre swim across the channel between San Remo and Phillip Island. Hundreds of participants head to this small township to compete in this race year after year.
Visitors should also check out the Phillip Island Multisport Festival. This event is a combination of a triathlon event as well as separate cycling and running competitions. There is also a twilight fun run which is suitable for the whole family. There are races that are suitable for all ages and abilities, as well as a para-triathlon for athletes with a disability.
One of the biggest events held year after year on Phillip Island is Schoolies, the week-long holiday for students to celebrate the end of their high school exams. During the Schoolies celebration, there are plenty of parties with DJ’s, live music, beach parties, pool parties and so much more.
