Schoolies is an event aimed at those just finishing their Year 12 exams. Schoolies is a pre-arranged 3 week long party where 17-18 year olds flock to Phillip Island for a massive party in celebration of finishing high school.

Typically, the festival runs for a span of three weeks and usually it starts near the end of November until mid-December. The event was first started in the Gold Coast, spread all over Queensland; and now gets celebrated all over Australia – including on Phillip Island.

During the Schoolies celebration, there are plenty of parties with DJ’s, live music, beach parties, pool parties and so much more. Basically sections of Phillip Island turn into one giant party during this period.

The official Schoolies hotel at Phillip Island is at “The Island Accommodation”. Staying at The Island Accommodation is the only way to get the Official Schoolies Wristband for Schoolies at Phillip Island. Most of the official schoolie events require pre-registration and accommodation needs to be booked very early, as with hundreds of students flocking to Phillip Island during this period, accommodation books out fast.

However if you would like to book your own schoolies accommodation, check out our links below for accommodation options available during Schoolies.
