For those visiting the fairy penguins when they come to shore in the evenings, please note that it can become very cold during the evening, so it is wise to bring coats and gloves. During summer, the evenings are pleasant but can turn cool with the breeze coming off the ocean, so visitors are advised to bring cold weather clothing.
