Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship

The Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship is a thrilling annual racing series held at Phillip Island, along with Sandown and Winton.

The weekend features a top-notch range of categories such as MGs, HQ Holdens, Formula Vee, Improved Production, Sports Sedans, Porsche Challenge, Saloon Cars, Historic Touring Cars, Formula Ford, and the BMW E30.

Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship, 2024 Dates, Phillip Island

The event is organised by the Victorian State Race Series Inc. and the Confederation of Australian Motorsport. The championships comprise race meetings conducted by the Victorian Mini Club Inc., Phillip Island Auto Racing Club, the Australian Sports Sedan Association, and the MG Car Club.

The Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships have been around since 1975, though formerly known as the Victorian Motor Race Championships and the State Race Series. In the past, these events were only held for a day but have since expanded to 2-day races featuring a practice on the first Friday before the race.

As one of the biggest races in the region, the championships have also led to the creation of the VicStateRacer magazine, which is now available online after each racing round. For anyone who enjoys cars and motor racing, these events are among the most exciting yearly events. There are at least 30 races and qualifying rounds in each show.

The Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship events are guaranteed a good time and non-stop adrenaline-pumping action. Unlike other races, you won’t find parades or skimpy girls here: it’s pure, unadulterated car action!
