The primary commercial centre is located on A’Beckett Street and stretches through Williams Street, Ramsey Boulevard, and Reilly Street. This is where you will find numerous cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores that carry everything you need for a comfortable stay here.

Inverloch happens to be located at a protected bay called Anderson Inlet, which is an estuary known for its breathtaking turquoise colours. It’s one of the many incredible beaches in this area, but Anderson Inlet is special for its soft sand that makes it ideal for swimming and relaxing. Low grassy dunes are found just behind it, and during low tides, this area is great for strolling around to explore the nearby surfing beaches.

The Glade is a foreshore reserve where you’ll find many little attractions suitable for family adventures. West of the coast is a good starting point to explore; from here, you can check out many beautiful beaches, as well as rocky outcrops. Shaded picnic areas provide a respite for visitors, while at the western area you’ll find the Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club on Surf Parade.

Meanwhile, head east and you’ll find the Esplanade, with a car park which also marks the beginning of the Screw Creek Townsend Bluff Estuary Walk. This track takes you through picturesque mangroves, bushland, a boardwalk and bridge to conveniently explore Screw Creek. From this area, visitors are recommended to go further north where you’ll find fishing platforms, but you can also go south which takes you to Townsend Bluff.

Inverloch is a great jump-off point for the famous Bunurong Coastal Drive, which is a 12-kilometre long route where you’ll pass through Cape Paterson. Dramatic views and pristine beaches are just some of the many gems you’ll discover here.

Inverloch is a destination suitable for all kinds of travellers. With so much nature and scenery to explore all year round, this is one place that will undoubtedly capture your heart.
