Though there are several terrific surfing beaches nearby, this beach is best for those who want to relax and swim safely among calm waves.

Nearby there are other great beaches to explore not too far from Ventnor Beach, also on the northern coast of Phillip Island. One of these is Red Rocks Beach, which is a sandy beach that is popular during the summer months because the sea is perfect for swimming. Cowes Beach is also great during the summer because of its shallow high tide, with tourist facilities found close to the jetty.

Ventnor Beach is also narrow, and many enjoy going on relaxing beach walks. Go on the one-hour return stroll where you’ll be greeted by the sights of Phillip Island, as well as the Mornington Peninsula.

You may park your car at Grossard Point. However, keep in mind that the beach is not wheelchair, pram, or bicycle-friendly.
