Blow Hole

The Blow Hole is a popular tourist attraction at The Nobbies in Phillip Island. It is essentially a large sea cave that during big southern swells, creates a huge water spray from the cave entrance.

If you are in the area, it’s worth checking out this site.

It makes for a one-of-a-kind sight that you won’t see anywhere else, so make sure to bring your camera. Oh, and make sure to pack your binoculars too so that you can see the biggest fur seal colony in Australia – just one and a half kilometres.

Other exciting things to do during your day trip to The Nobbies to see the Blow Hole include visiting the sea bird gardens. During the spring, silver gulls leave their nests here, and their adorable chicks can be seen. Depending on the season, you may also be lucky enough to see small penguins.

If you love animals and nature, a treat to the Blow Hole and its surrounding attractions in The Nobbies will be a thrill.
