Eagles Nest

Eagles Nest is a natural attraction found along the Bunurong Coastal Drive between Cape Paterson and Inverloch.

This unusual rock is visible from afar and is one of the most photographed sights in the area.

In fact, many visitors often stop by the rock to appreciate this geological wonder. It’s one of the many photogenic rock formations you’ll find along the coast, though it isn’t recommended to get too close to it.

The path that walks down to the beach and gets you across to the rock can be treacherous and dangerous, especially during the high tide. So Eagles Nest is best appreciated from afar.

People who have been coming to this site for years can attest to how much it’s changed over the last few years, which is why it is even more critical to ensure that the environment here remains as undisturbed as possible.
