Grantville is a charming town found on the Western Port’s eastern coast.

Though most visitors pass through the town on their way to other destinations in Victoria, there are several attractions worth visiting.

The town’s commercial centre is found along the service road on each side of the Bass Highway. Some of the establishments you’ll find here include grocery stores, bakeries, a service station, cafes, and restaurants. The Grantville Memorial Park is located on the junction of Bass Highway and Pier Road. This historical attraction pays homage to the people who fought for Australia during various wars. Features of the park include an insightful history walk, a playground for kids, and barbecue facilities.

For some outdoor excitement with the family, head over to the Grantville coast – just 300 meters away from Bass Highway. The well-maintained tourist facilities here include barbecue pits, a picnic shelter, clean lawns, and a landscaped lawn where everyone can lay back and relax while taking in views of the pier and the coast. You can also get some exercise in by taking a stroll on the coastal walking track, located north of the coast when you are coming from Grantville Pier.

The most famous attraction in Grantville is the Maru Koala and Animal Park. A favourite of families, this is where you’ll get to meet adorable farm animals and other kinds of native wildlife. Meanwhile, The Gurdies Nature Conservation Reserve has stunning picnic facilities and walking tracks surrounded by beautiful eucalyptus trees.

Don’t miss out on the Grantville Community Market, which is an outdoor market set up each month which offers a huge array of impressive produce and handmade goods.
